IFS Helps Entrepreneur Obtain DTI Funding – September 2004
IFS have helped an entrepreneur develop the technical programme for a successful application under the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) SMART Micro Programme (http://www.businesslink.gov.uk).
The proposed work aims to develop novel sporting equipment using Virtual Design techniques developed by IFS. IFS are undertaking the technical design work over a period of three months after which the product will undergo physical trials. IFS are focussing increasingly on design-based work or “functional design”, taking novel product ideas and providing the engineering expertise to turn the ideas into reality.
